Description

This is NOT just a cover for you to attempt to restore your warped, disintegrating board under the rear window. This is a re-engineered, durable replacement made from fiberglass for the upper panel and hardboard for the panel behind the seats. Covered, assembled, and ready to install. JWest/Appbiz exclusive design. Designed so that it can be disassembled and recovered if needed in the future. 911 SC style can be retrofitted to earlier cars. It is raised to provide room for rear speakers. Don't forget to upgrade to the later 2-piece rear seat straps if you upgrade to this style. Our '72-'77 version of the package shelf has a full fiberglass upper portion with the lip molded in. The factory is a multi-part formed fiberboard contraption that turns into soggy crumbs. This can be fitted to later cars for a more vintage look. '65-'71 Coupe is not fiberglass due to a different rear deck design - it is die-cut from premium water-resistant panel board and comes with matching material for you to reuse and recover your metal parcel bar.
