Substantial increase in shifting precision for a small price. Fits '87 to '89 911.

Replaces the soft factory rubber with firm and resilient Insoform plastic.
Includes metal bushings and new mounting hardware.
Requires drilling or grinding the factory rivets that retain the original coupler disc. This should be performed with the coupler removed from the car.
Isolation is maintained; however, transmission noise and vibration at the shifter may increase.
Note that the original rubber isolator is not destroyed when removed so it can be swapped back in using the bolts included in the kit if desired.
