Instructions
A "full race" version of reverse lockout for the RennShift. Lock flips into and out of position for no-question positive engagement.
This is a retrofit for your existing RennShift. It is not possible to use a shift boot with this design.
Does not fit factory shifter.
Works with all (Regular and ProtoStick) upper sticks.
Lockout is offset and reversible for multiple modes:
915 Gearbox:
Mode 1: Reverse gear is blocked, 5th gear is always accessible. Flip the lockout lever to allow reverse gear access.
Mode 2: Reverse and 5th gears are both blocked. Flip the lockout lever to access Reverse and 5th. Good for lower speed short-track use.
901 Gearbox (And 914):
Mode 1: Reverse gear is blocked, 1st gear is always accessible. Flip the lockout lever to allow reverse gear access.
Mode 2: Reverse and 1st gears are both blocked. Flip the lockout lever to access Reverse and 1st. Good when 1st is only used to get underway in the pits.
930 4-Speed:
Lock out the Reverse gate.
